What are forums ?

Forums are discussions centered around a central theme or topic.  Each topic can have several threads.

What is a thread ?

A thread is a distinct discussion or conversation.  A thread will contain posts from many different users

What is a post ?

A post is the actual message containing a question, answer, comment, idea, opinion or anything else the user wants to convey to others.

How do I participate in the forums on www.ClinicalVillage.com ?

1. Simply click on one of the featured threads on the main page or click on the Forums tab above.
2. You will then see a list of forums or topics.  Now, click on any of the forum names.
3. Now, you see a list of the current threads or conversations in that topic.
4. You can participate in an ongoing thread or start your own.
5. In any message, you can post pictures or links and format the message to suit your needs.

Participate in an ongoing thread or conversation

1. Click on an already existing thread in the list of threads under any topic and read the posts.
2. To enter a reply click on the Quick Reply link at the end of a post and enter your reply.  Then click Post to submit it.
3. If you would like to respond to a particular post, click the reply icon at the top of that post.  You will then see the text of the user you want to quote.  Click the Quote button and enter your text.
4. Then click Post to submit it.

Create a new thread or conversation

1. Under any topic click the Write a New Post icon.
2. Enter a subject and then the text of the post or message.
3. When done click the Post icon.

That's it.  Please use your new knowledge and post a message on the forums.  There are many other options you can explore while posting a message to the forums.
